Matthew Griffiths
Managing Partner
Based in Sydney, Matthew has over 20 years of global
corporate advisory experience.
Originally from the UK, Matthew held senior
management positions at a number of leading global IT and Telecommunications
companies.
Matthew has co-founded 3 companies, is an investor/shareholder
in 5 other start-ups, and has raised capital for, and advised over 100 early stage
businesses. 10 of these businesses have subsequently been acquired. Four have
achieved an IPO.
Since founding the Freebird Group in 2000, he
has grown the business to over 150 clients in 10 years. In this time, he has
helped raise over $100m for clients and secured over $250m in 3rd party sales.
For the past 10 years, Matthew has been retained by
the Australian Government as one of their primary technology commercialisation
advisers.
